The Old School House Bell Tower At Llanhennock
The Bell Tower on the Old School House, Llanhennock was looking worn and needed renovation. The existing boards were rotten and beyond repair. The roof and support beams needed some tlc also.

Fibreglass Top
The upright corner beams were in good condition except one which we replaced. The facia boards were rotten as were the bottom cladding boards. Our objective was to renew the rotten timbers and prepare the remaining timber ready to be repainted. The felt top also needed replacing which we decided was best to replace in fibreglass.
The facia boards were sculpted to the same design as the originals. The lead flashing corners were recut from new lead and fixed over the new facias and corner trims. The cladding was fixed into place and everything coated before the fibreglass top was installed
The original lead roof was checked over and leadmate silicone used to seal and fix any joints.
