All our doors are made with sustainable timber from responsibly managed forests. We manufacture our solid timber doors to a minimum thickness of 54mm with our engineered timber doors being 60-63mm thick. This allows us to use double glazed units up to 28mm thick incorporating a 20mm gas filled cavity.

All our doorsets use Schlegel Aquamac draft seals to ensure an air tight seal around all perimeters and joints.

We use 5 lever sashlocks on traditional style doors or Winkhaus 5 Deadbolt Thunderbolt locking mechanisms which give excellent security along with our 3* Euro cylinders.

Creative Process

All our doors are handmade and therefore can be made to any specification or design you require. We can work from complex architectural drawings or simple sketches to produce your perfect doorset that will be unique to your property. Unlike many modern manufacturers we only use solid or engineered timber. No veneer. We also use traditional mortice and tenon joints which are wedged and glued using waterproof (d4) adhesive to create an exceptionally strong and durable product.

Paul was excellent. I would not hesitate to get him back to do more work. In fact I am planning to. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The door that he made for us is beautiful and has helped to transform our house.
